Sometimes my thoughts carry me very far away...and sometimes I am able to express them in a different and somehow poetic way. Below is a piece I was inspired to write as I just pondered on the awesomeness of God's Word.
A giant puzzle
Yep, that’s the Bible
Incorruptible
Indestructible
Infallible
Without the Holy Spirit, incomprehensible
A sacred message
A depth of hidden knowledge
Made for unlimited usage
To point out all vice
Thus its Words are not always nice
But a lifetime does not suffice
To get the whole picture.
Yes, it’s mysterious in nature
Complex, yet simple in structure
And definitely of great stature
It forever remains unchanging scripture
That sure does not evolve with culture.
The source of wisdom
The key to freedom
The Way into God’s Kingdom
The most powerful sword
God’s very own Word
Words that created this world
Words that lead us to the cross
Words only a fool will toss
Words that will never fail us
With several puzzle pieces
Missing one piece can mean a crisis
A tendency to misunderstand
And therefore take the wrong stand
So like David I shall continuously ponder
On so great a source of power
Meditating day and night
Only by His Grace, not by my might
Till the day I shall see His Light
